I’m back with the second of four cards dedicated to my eldest brother. He is ultra-talented and a wonderful asset to our family. He speaks nearly fluent French and although I DON’T, I decided to do a card in French.
I used the Sheltering Tree stamp set, in French, from Stampin’ Up. It was a bit challenging because of the French element especially on the inside of the card. Even though it’s only one line, getting the correct words and word order was difficult, not knowing French myself. I know Spanish but somehow it was not helpful at all. LOL. Anyway, I’m hopeful he’ll appreciate the extra effort to create a card especially for him in a language he really enjoys.
The outside sentiment translates into: “Bill is a sheltering tree.” The inside translation I’ll leave between he and I and anyone who happens to know French.
